Terms of service

The service

Sonivation gives you access to Haly, your personal agent: you describe a task in a few sentences, Haly breaks it into steps and carries them out in the background, with the accounts you connected. Haly can search the web, read pages, write texts and documents, prepare and send emails, create calendar events, use your apps and act in your browser.

You follow each task live, with its log, and you can pause, resume or stop it at any time.

Your go-ahead

Before any action that commits you, such as sending an email, posting, booking or paying, Haly asks for your go-ahead. For a batch, a single request shows what will go out, and you can remove items before accepting.

In your settings, you can allow Haly to take some actions without asking. What Haly does with your go-ahead, or with a permission you granted, is done on your behalf and under your responsibility.

Your connected accounts

You can connect accounts that belong to you: Gmail and Google Calendar, apps through our partner Composio (Google Drive, Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Canva, Notion, LinkedIn and others), your bank read-only through Plaid, and your computer through the Chrome extension. Each connection happens in the service’s official window, never giving us your passwords, and can be removed at any time from your space.

Haly uses these accesses only for the tasks you launch. Each service has its own terms, and some limit or forbid automation: you agree to respect them. These services belong to third parties; we cannot guarantee their availability or the changes they make.

What Haly produces

Haly’s texts, documents, searches and answers may contain errors or outdated information. Review them before approving a send. In a résumé or an application, check that everything describing you is accurate: Haly must not make anything up, but can be wrong.

Sonivation does not provide legal, medical, accounting, tax or financial advice. What Haly prepares in these areas is a draft to be validated by a qualified person.

Subscription and credits

When you subscribe to your first plan, you receive welcome credits, once per space. Each plan is paid by card, from the day you subscribe, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe.

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your space. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, subject to the rights the law gives you.

Haly’s work uses credits, tracked in your space: your plan’s daily allowance first, then your balance. Credits have no cash value, can only be used in Sonivation and are not refundable, unless the law requires otherwise.

Your data

Your data and what Haly produces for you remain yours. You authorize us to process them only as needed to provide the service. We never use them to serve someone else nor to train AI models.

You can export all your data and ask for your account to be deleted from your space. The details are in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sonivation to send unsolicited or bulk messages in breach of the law, harass or deceive anyone, impersonate another person, send fake applications, publish illegal or infringing content, access accounts that are not yours, or circumvent the service’s limits.

We may suspend a space that breaks these rules, after notifying you where possible.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and reliable, but cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. A task can stop, for instance when a connected service no longer answers; Haly says so and you can resume it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

If you are a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits the rights given to you by the consumer protection laws of the place where you live, including Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act. Any clause of these terms that would contradict those laws does not apply to you.

Ending the contract

You can close your space at any time. We then delete your data within 30 days of the request, except what the law requires us to keep (invoices: 7 years).

Changes, governing law and contact

We notify you by email at least 30 days before a significant change to these terms takes effect, telling you what changes. If you refuse it, you can end the contract at no cost before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence. The French version prevails over any translation.
